hey so i'm new to the whole colin hanlon lovin (but i'm in it deep). i just found this community and i know that its not used often, but i figured any true colin fan NEEDS to see these videos that are up on Youtube.
They're from the Capitol Rep production of the Benj Pasek and Justin Paul song cycle entitled EDGES. enjoy!

I know these Colin communities have not been active lately….but all Colin fans should go and see Colin at the George Street Playhouse production of “Falsettos.” Colin is great and it is an awesome production.

If you're in the area, Colin Hanlon will be playing Jamie in The Last 5 Years at NJ's George Street Playhouse. (This is the same playhouse he performed at in tick, tick ... BOOM! last year...) Tickets are onsale online and over the phone, and the playhouse isn't huge, so if you want to go you should buy yours quickly! He'll be playing opposite Sarah Litzsinger (Susan from GSP's ttB). I'm really excited for it!
The show is running from April 19th til May 15th (including previews.) Previws have a talk back after them - ttB's talkback was really interesting...

Hey, oh my God. I saw RENT again yesterday and luckily for me I was second row and guess who was playing Mark? Yep, Colin. Sorry, I just thought I would share my excitement! I saw him upclose and personal. I couldn't stop staring at him! He has a truly amazing voice too :)

Hey, I just joined this community. I am ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif?v=92.1) kimjungae 's sister, and earth_souljah 's friend. I was in "Carousel" with them (snow child) with colin as well with SU. Just thought I'd say that. He's an awesome guy.
I remember the first time i talked with him, I had his giant shoes on, and was walking around with them (i was like, 7), and was joking around with him during one of the rehearsels. He was a cool guy.

I think I met Colin...I think LOL.May 8th I was in NYC with my high school and we saw Rent. I'm a complete renthead so I basically knew every bloody line of the show. Well afterwards we were standing outside the theatre next to the bar waiting for our bus. I turned and saw this really cute guy next to me playing with a two way cell phone kinda thing and I was like 'ohh cool". He kinda ignored me cause I dont think he wanted 50 people screaming at him if they reconized him. He left and went into the bar and sat on the long couch just inside. Well all my friends were like "he's from RENT" and I being the brave one decided I was only in NYC for one night why not meet the guy. So I opened up the bar door and walked in. I think the guy at the desk was really surpised to see someone actually walk in because their faces we're priceless. I was like "hi i'm from Syracuse NY and I came all the way here to see the show, I'm just wondering if anyone from RENT is here." so the guy still shocked a little goes "yes their all here go on in the back just dont bring a ton of people with you" so me being me walk torwards the bar alone. Just as I turned to look where they all were hanging out my chaparone freaked out and opens the door "KRISTINA the bus is coming, we have to go" now in hindsight I realize the bus wouldnt have left without me but ya know... So I sadly walked out of the bar and as I was walking on the side walk Karmine Alers was walking into the bar. I stopped her and asked for a picture and an autograph. She was so sweet. Anyway I didnt realize Colin was Colin until later on the bus I was reading the Playbill and saw the Syracuse University bit. I now know that my ass should have been kicked out of hte bar because I'm only 18 but I think Colin saw my SU sweatshirt and told the guy to let me come back....Long story short......an awesome ending to the perfect day.
